You may not remember this, but back in the mid-90′s former Just the Tip drummer Mad Dog was part of a Nickelodeon-assembled band that included “Budnick” from Salute Your Shorts. I think the guy in the middle may actually have been a young “Donkey Lips”, but that has yet to be confirmed. Mad Dog may have also contributed musically to this timeless theme song:

Join the TIP this Friday night as we team up with Absolut Vodka for our first show at Turtle Bay. Some may say we are selling out, but when you really think about it, we’ve been whoring our bodies to the booze industry for years so we may as well give them our souls too. Turtle Bay is hooking it up with a $20 open bar from 9-11pm, as well as $5 Absolut drinks during the show (if you’d rather not do the open bar). There will also be reps from Absolut on hand giving out free stuff. Get to the show before 10 and there is NO COVER. We’ll be starting at 8pm. See you then!

What’s up all. Chadillac here holdn’ it down from Frisco. I can’t wait to get back to NYC for what’s shaping up to be an amazing show on March 6. Turtle Bay seems like a place you would find the tip. I mean, if it’s good enough for uber trash skank Aubrey O’Day then it’s def. right up our alley. I hope I see all of you fine folks out Friday the 6th. Absolut is sponsoring the damn thing and we need a strong showing. I’ll need a volunteer to prop me up on stage, G&T’s anyone? Plus we’ll all need a solid pre drink base before Hoboken St. Patty’s day. Enjoy your Fat Tuesday, I’m heading out to terrorize Cali.
